Climb Everest: The ultimate mountaineering adventure

Elite Exped offers a tailored Everest expedition based on the plans that allowed our leaders — Nimsdai Purja, Mingma David and Mingma Tenzi — to climb the peak numerous times successfully, break many world records and safely return from the tallest mountain in the world.

Our unparalleled expertise on Everest has been accumulated over long years of guiding in all conditions. Our handpicked team of guides have chalked up dozens of successful summits between them and we have an industry-leading climber summit rate with such experienced guides at the helm.

We tackle Everest from the south - with direct access from our home country, logistical arrangements are unparalleled. The expedition takes you into the heart of the Himalayas, as you trek to the likes of Namche Bazaar, Deboche and Dingboche, before ascending to Everest’s summit from Base Camp. The 55-day package is designed with plenty of rest days and time for acclimatization built-in, as well as a lengthy, 42-day period for climbing the mountain itself.

We oversee every step of our logistical operations and meet the very highest safety standards. Our founders’ Nepalese heritage and ability to bridge the gap between Western and Himalayan climbing cultures allows us to run every aspect of our operation smoothly.

Our guides also have extensive experience in conducting high-altitude rescue operations. We have evacuation plans and accessible helicopter rescue in place for emergencies. No one can cater for every eventuality in the world’s most extreme environments, but we can guarantee that you will be in the safest possible hands should the unexpected happen.

We don’t see our clients as clients - we see them as friends and fellow high-achievers. People who, like us, have made chasing their dreams a priority. We know why you climb because we feel the same way. That means we’ll make sure no stone is left unturned in our quest to help you achieve those dreams. We know how it feels to stand on top of the world. It’s our dream to be able to share that with you.

From our clients

Failure is NOT an option with Nims and the team. He taught me that giving up is NOT an option. All his team were going to the summit. 100% success. This is the Elite way.

Ed Hill

We could not have been in safer hands. Everything was conducted to the highest standard. I had complete confidence in the safety system on the mountain at all times.

This is such a huge thing to commend Elite on - and also a key reason we all reached the summit and returned safely.

Why choose
Elite Exped?

Nimsdai Purja, Mingma David Sherpa’s and Mingma Tenzi’s mountaineering groundbreaking records speak for themselves, but our leaders are more than just supremely talented climbers.

While some choose to direct operations from back office, our three directors lead from the front. Their experience in every aspect of guiding and climbing — from fixing ropes to organising logistics — is unparalleled. It's no surprise that they have the industry-leading success rate when it comes to summiting 8,000m peaks.

Beyond this, our handpicked team of guides have also chalked up dozens of successful summits between them.

Safety through

If it’s controllable we control it: this is key to attaining and maintaining our industry-leading strategy for success and safety.

We maximise our options, agility and responsiveness by running self-sufficient expeditions that don’t rely on any other teams to achieve our objectives.

Our team is capable of setting up our own fixed lines (with a proven track record on all 8,000m peaks) and has backups to cover all scenarios. These include everything from secondary oxygen supplies to the ability and experience to operate our own rescue missions if the situation arises.

A unique

With his Nepalese roots and UK residency, our co-founder Nimsdai Purja brings a unique perspective and an unparalleled ability to bridge the gap between Western and Himalayan climbing cultures.

We can assemble trusted teams and networks anywhere in the world, but our founders’ roots are a particular advantage when it comes to summiting the world’s very highest peaks.

An intimate knowledge of how things work on the ground ensures that everything runs smoothly when you’re 8,000m above sea-level.

Combo Packages

Mount Everest is undoubtedly on the bucket list of every climber. Who wouldn't want to conquer the highest mountain on the planet? But the most dedicated and skilled mountaineers won’t want to stop there, of course, which is where Elite Exped’s combo packages come in. This expedition offers you the chance to bag two 8,000m summits - the first and fourth-highest mountains in the world - in a single climbing season. For high achievers, goals don’t come much greater than this.

8000m Peaks

Characterized by its sharp, picturesque peak, Manaslu dominates the Mansiri-Himal subrange of the Himalayas. First summited by a Japanese team in 1956, the world’s eighth-highest mountain has a long association with Japanese climbers, but among Europeans remains one of the less well-known peaks. Reaching the summit at 8,163m is a serious undertaking, but one that Elite Exped is ideally equipped to help you achieve.

8000m Peaks

K2 isn’t nicknamed “the savage mountain” for nothing. The world’s second-highest peak is arguably the toughest challenge in mountaineering. For a long time, it was considered unconquerable and the number of successful expeditions was very low.

Elite Exped will be with you every step of the way, from the moment you land in Kathmandu, to the moment you stand on top of the world.
