Our itinerary

Our meticulously crafted Aconcagua climb itinerary is based on Nims’ proven strategy. It includes additional rest days and acclimatisation periods to optimise your chances of success.

Aconcagua’s relative accessibility means you’ll summit Aconcagua within 19 days of your arrival in the regional capital Mendoza (including contingency days to account for potential weather challenges).

At Elite Exped, we extensively vet our hotel. Travel and accommodation partners and

operate using the very best mountaineering equipment available to ensure the highest

standards of safety possible. The following is included in your booking:

Included

Arrival & Departure: Pick and drop facility- Airport/Hotel/Airport.
Accommodation: Two nights stay in Mendoza on sharing basis - Breakfast included.
Welcome dinner: One Welcome Dinner in tourist standard restaurant.
Assistance with procedures to obtain the permit to enter the province park of Aconcagua.
Domestic Transportation: Required transportation for all members and staff as per the itinerary.
Transportation of baggage by Mules up to basecamp (max 20kgs) - You will have to carry your day sack.
Lodging at Basecamp in mountain tents.
Food & Lodging: Three meals a day during trekking & at basecamp.
All meals included in the mountain.
Basecamp staffs: Basecamp Cooks & Kitchen Assistants.
Basecamp setups: Sleeping tent, Dining tent (Shared), Kitchen Tent, Toilet, tables & chair.
Staff salary and allowances: All staffs & porters’ daily wages/ equipment/ food/ clothing and personal insurances (Medical & Emergency rescue insurance).
Professional mountain guide. Experienced and qualified to operate in Aconcagua.
Emergency Medical equipment. Hot showers at Basecamp.
Internet (Limited and very weather dependent) and power supplies at basecamp.
Porter service to carry tents, garbage, and human waste.
Walkie Talkie for Guide.
Drinking water (hot and cold) in all our camps (base camps and high camps).

What skillset and fitness level are required?

All Elite Exped expeditions take place in extreme high altitude environments, with differing requirements for ability. Due to the nature of these operational landscapes, it is essential you provide concise, honest descriptions of relevant experience and current fitness levels. Upon receipt, we will review your experience and respond accordingly. At this point, if we consider there to be any shortfalls, we can collectively discuss the opportunities and/or provide a training support plan to achieve your goals.
